International festival of TV and Movie Cameramen “Golden Eye” 2015

Golden eye

The 2nd International Exhibition of Broadcast Equipment took place on October 16-17 in Tbilisi, Georgia. The exhibition was opened by the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia’s head of Georgian Culture Popularization Department Giorgi Aptsiauri. Levan Katsadze, executive director of International Foundation for Innovative Technologies,  delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. 

Leading manufacturers of broadcasting equipment participatied in the exhibition: SONY, Panasonic, Canon, Fujifilm,Arri Camera, Arri Lighting, Angenieux,Avid, DJI, Ross Video,TSL, Gearhouse, Eutelsat, SAM-Advanced Media, Guramex, Videoscope, Innovator, Oracle, Lawo, RTS.

Georgian system integrator Innovator raffled two DJI PHANTOM 3 and vouchers for 500 and 1000 Gel.

Master-class was hosted by an invited Hollywood expert Mr. Hiro Narita, this year’s master-class topic was: “Frame of Mind and Light: Interplay between what is manifested on the screen and what is suggested”.

Best TV Cameramen – Rudolf Peter Kiss “Caen’s Children” (Hungary, France);
Risk Shot – Mathew VanDyke Not anymore: Story of Revolution (USA);
Best Student Work – Naum Doksevski  “Last Act” (Macedonia);
Grand Prize –David Procter “Bypass” (UK, Sweden);
Special prize for contribution to the development of cinematography – Lomer Akhvlediani (Georgia);
Special prize for contribution to the development of Broadcasting Kote Kochuashvili (Georgia);
Special prize of Georgian Public Broadcaster –Goga Khaindrava (Georgia);
Special prize of Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia: Murat Aliev (Kazakhistan).
